“There is nothing wrong with anything at Gary's BBQ. Delightful menu with options other than bbq. It looked clean from what I saw from the booth.

“The salad was a nice small platter. It was stacked full three hush puppies and a sweet tea was more than enough for me. It was delicious!”

“People were telling me how fantastic this place was. So we gave it a try. The prices were great, but the service was not. I told the server we've never been here and I'm guessing they didn't pay attention. I asked for the BBQ Rib platter, then she said did you want pork or chicken. I was confused. Then when I went to pay I didn't realize they were cash only and was told that in a very sparky way. Again first time going there. So when we got home, firstly I got shredded pork, secondly no sauce at all, just dry shredded pork. Don't know how this place had such good reviews.”

“Gary's BBQ spot is a must-try for that home-town dining experience! The sauces are home made and they pair great with the pulled pork sandwich. For dessert, the award winning banana pudding is a must try! Although I do not recommend the mac-n-cheese haha, everything else was great! The staff was warm and welcoming, even the food was surprisingly affordable! Although make sure to bring cash, as that's the only accepted payment. Gary's is a unique restaurant with vintage cars on display. The décor is unique as well with cool signs that Gary has personally collected over the last 50 years. If your reading this Gary, thanks again for the hospitality!”

“Super cool time capsule restaurant. Good food and friendly service! And I have to say their wedge fries were perfection!! So hard to find them cooked like that. They came nice and hot, perfectly cooked all they way through with crispy outside and soft center. I just happened upon them on a trip back from Charlotte. What a gem of a restaurant!!”

“The food is good. They menu is lacking in information- sides with plates etc. The lady checking us out was rude and acted like I did something wrong because the picked up my receipt with the plates. I had to remind the waitress of what we ordered, correcting at my own expense. Still the lady at the register was rude. There are plenty of BBQ places in the area. I'll try somewhere else next time.

They also didn't give us any BBQ sauce with our to-go order. Mid at best.”
